New Thing 144, New Thing Every Day: Try to Mail Someone a Truck Stop Post Card

Yes, this New Thing definitely goes on the list of Totally Obscure New Things, but my very longtime good friend Kim Yates suggested it, and it made my list.

BUT THEN...

I went to two different truck stops and it looks like truck stops do not sell postcards anymore. The closest thing I could find was a stand of greeting cards, so I bought one and am mailing it to someone. Oh well, it is still doing something new, took a little effort and thought, and gave me an excuse to reach out to someone.
