New Thing 143, New Thing Every Day: Attend My Rotary Club's Monthly Social

Bizarrely, I have been a pretty committed Rotarian for 18 years, a member of this particular club for maybe eight years, and it has had an informal, monthly social for over two years, and I have never, ever attended. No reason, it has just somehow worked out that I have never gone.

Today, I fixed that. After work, we had our social at DogMaster Distillery, and it really was a nice time, catching up with people over tasty beverages.

Yes, I will make a greater effort to go in the future.
