Tonight was the first annual Tribby Awards, an event hosted by the Columbia Daily Tribune and celebrating high school athletes. It was held at Missouri Theater and we got there early to make sure we got good seats. Several of Leigh's Kids from Battle High School were nominees and one of her favorites, Brevinn Tyler, won in the football category. It was very cool to see so many kids, all dressed up, celebrating their hard work and success. I am not much of a sports person, but I am glad I went, and am proud that I was able to support a bunch of great kids.
