Today I helped my friend apply for a big grant that will hopefully support an excellent social program. I have written a lot of grants over the course of my life, but I have never spent significant time helping someone write their first government grant. It was interesting, and a good experience. Fortunately, my friend did an awful lot of the writing, and he was really good at it. Now, we just have to keep our fingers crossed until we get our notification.
