For years, Leigh and I have seen Arcadian Moon Winery advertised at the Higginsville exit, between Columbia and Kansas City. Then, in the last year or so, Leigh took the extra step of looking them up and learned that they serve food (which too many wineries do not).
Today, Leigh suggested we go for a day date. We had delicious little pizzas and split a tasty bottle of sweet white wine. We sat outside, overlooking a small lake. It was such a great date (including the drive, which Leigh and I enjoy), and an excellent New Thing.
