New Thing 159, New Thing Every Day: Read William Faulkner's Nobel Prize Speech

This is another from the list of 25 Speeches that Changed the World, and it is pretty short. I liked its optimism and, of course, the beauty of the language. It makes me think about our own time, and all of the others where people think we are somehow nearing the end of our society. More than anything, part of the human condition is that we keep going, and I tend to think that will continue.
